In 2026, there are hundreds of implant systems out there. ChatGPT says there are over 1,000! That is outrageous. And guess what? They will all tell you that their system is the best.

But you want to know which implant system is the best for someone who is just starting out.

Why don’t we start by identifying some of the things that will be most important:

Restorability

I’ll venture to guess that being able to restore an implant is a pretty darn important thing for you. (wink) Of course it is! So why would you get a system that uses complicated connections? Or why would you use an implant system that is not widely restored by dental labs everywhere? The answer: you wouldn’t. So, an implant system has to be super easy to restore in order to be beginner friendly.

What is one of the most common complications for restoring implants?

👉 Not having the right parts when you need them.

This happens because implants have so many different platforms. So, while you might have the right brand of impression copings, you might not have the right size platform. For example you might have a regular platform, but need a narrow platform.

That is why, in my opinion having only ONE PLATFORM size it critical. This allows you to always have the right parts when you need them.

  • No confusion

  • No mix ups

Compatible Parts

Another criteria is for the implant system to have easily accessible compatible parts. If a system only has parts that are specifically made by that manufacturer and nobody else, you might be in trouble when trying to restore it again 10 years from now (trust me, it happens faster than you think).

You need a system that is compatible with:

  • locators

  • multi units

  • scan bodies

  • UCLA abutments

  • and a bunch of other stuff you might not even think of yet

Surgical Kit Parts

This is a huge one. Literally.

Kits are enormous. They have at least 50 parts in them and your assistants will lose those parts with outrageous predictability. Also, you probably wont use 40 % of the parts in those kits. And, guess what, your rep will tell you that you need to buy a different kit 3 years from now.

So, a beginner friendly surgical kit should be:

  • simple

  • reduced to essentials

  • easy to navigate

  • quick to reference for drilling sequences and measurements

Strong Titanium Grade

Not all implants are made equal. Implants are milled on CNC machines out of titanium. And they are made from different types of titanium that vary in strength.

It is very important that you know this.

If you don’t know the titanium quality, you might unknowingly use a soft titanium implant into a situation in which it gets overloaded and breaks.

Dental Implant User Friendliness

You also want an implant that is not high maintenance.

Some implants require very specialized protocols and parts in order to place them properly. For example, implants that have a flare on them require a specialized tool in the surgical kit in order to profile the bone first. This is inconvenient and can actually cause you to have more spinners. (low engagement implants)

Also, several implants out there have features that look flashy and don’t actually contribute to stability.

👉 It is important not to fall for those gimmicks and end up having to work around those unintuitive designs.

Easy To Start Using

Oftentimes, reps try to sell you:

  • a $15,000 bundle

  • or even a $50,000 package

This is a disservice to the dentist.

It is much better to:

  • try a system out

  • hold the kit in your hands

  • use it on your patients

  • start at a reasonable cost

Implant Club Is the Most Beginner Friendly Dental Implant System

Given all of those criteria, the Implant System that is hands down the most beginner friendly is Implant Club.

Here’s why:

  • It uses a 3.5 Internal Hex which is the most widely adopted implant platform on earth

  • Due to this connection, has the most number of compatible parts

  • The surgical kit is reduced down to only the essentials

  • It is aggressively simple, but still complete

  • Implant Club implants are made from grade 23 titanium, which is incredibly strong

  • The implant placement protocol is designed specifically to be very easy and simple to use

  • No big package — starter pack is under $6,000

Implant Club was created with the general dentist in mind. It is the GP implant system. Everything about it is convenient, intuitive and meant for real world implementation.

If you are looking to get started with dental implants, the Implant Club starter pack is what I would recommend. All of our products are specifically curated to be the most effective tools that I have used as a surgically trained prosthodontist. And if you are looking for a course to help you jumpstart your training, the Implant Surgery 101 pairs well with the starter kit.

At Implant Ninja, our goal is to make implants simple. Simple to learn and simple to implement. Together, Implant Ninja and Implant Club are redefining dental implant education by replacing complexity with systems that actually work seamlessly in real-world practice.

I look forward to working with you!
